Skit maker Promise Kelvin Anagbogu, popularly known as Lord Lamba, has ignited a legal battle by filing a child custody lawsuit against Queen Mercy Atang, a former Big Brother Naija housemate, heightening tensions between the two.
The conflict emerged after Atang announced her engagement on Instagram, triggering Lord Lamba to share pictures with their one-year-old daughter. Images of the legal petition surfaced online, revealing that Lord Lamba had filed the lawsuit on February 16, addressing the Family Court of Lagos State in Ikeja.
The petition criticized Queen for allegedly leaving their daughter, Princess Khellah Kelvin Anagbogu, in the care of others while she traveled to the UK for her engagement on January 29, 2024.
Despite Lord Lamba’s consistent financial support, he claimed in the document that he was denied access to the child, alleging that Queen blocked all his phone numbers.
Lord Lamba emphasized that securing custody was in the child’s best interest for a proper upbringing and care, stating, “for her to have a decent upbringing and for her to be well catered to.”
