We Are Not Responsible For Rice Buyers’ Deaths At Lagos Office! – Customs States

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has confirmed the passing of one of its members, Comfort Adebanjo, along with six others who tragically lost their lives while attempting to purchase seized rice being sold by the Nigeria Customs Service.

The ruling party conveyed this message through an obituary message released on Saturday to mourn the deceased party member and other affected Nigerians.

In response to public outcry over the escalating cost of living, the Customs Service announced plans to directly distribute seized food items to citizens. This initiative aims to address food security challenges and rising food prices.
