Three students of the Federal Government College, Ijanikin, Lagos have been placed on indefinite suspension because their parents took the Parent Teachers Association (PTA) of the school to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
One of the suspension letters dated December 5th, 2023, was signed by the Vice Principal, Students Affairs, Mrs. A.O. Oluwaseyitan.
The letter reads: “I am directed to inform you that the School Based Management Committee (SBMC), which is the highest decision-making body of the college has directed that your ward, Elusogbon Muhammed Ayomide should remain with you until the EFCC case is decided.
“You should therefore not bother to bring him back to school when school resumes in the January 2023/2024 academic session.”
