News reports indicate that CAF has disclosed the results of the doping tests, conducted unexpectedly, for the mentioned Super Eagles players. Despite initial shock, CAF has officially cleared Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, and William Troost-Ekong after a thorough examination of the test results. Notably, it was revealed that this was not the first instance of Victor Osimhen undergoing doping tests at AFCON 2023, as he had previously been tested after the team’s 1-0 victory over Cote D’Ivoire in the group stages of the competition.
