Mr Ibu’s family, through Valentine Okafor, refutes amputation rumors, citing blood clotting challenges. Updates on health.
In a recent statement issued by Valentine Okafor on behalf of Mr Ibu’s family, they vehemently denied circulating reports suggesting that the veteran actor’s second leg has been amputated. The family also debunked claims that Mr Ibu is grappling with diabetes, shedding light on the actual health challenges he faces.
Expressing gratitude to Nigerians for their overwhelming support, both physically and financially, the family sought to correct misconceptions surrounding Mr Ibu’s health. According to the statement, the actor is currently battling blood clotting in his legs, a condition attributed to diseased blood vessels and other health issues posing a risk to his life.
Contrary to rumors, the family clarified, “First, we would like to state that our daddy wasn’t amputated on both legs but only one.” They explained that the initial amputation didn’t entirely address his health predicament, leading to a further amputation on the same leg to ensure his overall well-being.
