Kid Cudi’s forthcoming album, INSANO, which was recently postponed, is getting even more substantial with additional tracks and featured artists ahead of its release next year.
On Tuesday, October 3, the Ohio-born artist took to Twitter to provide fans with updates about INSANO, revealing that he has significantly expanded the project after opting to invest more time in its development.
He wrote, “There are over 40 songs on INSANO, including both the main album and deluxe editions. You’re welcome. The takeover begins in 2024.”

The 39-year-old artist also added, “I am confident that this album will encompass everything you expect from me: the fun, profound reflections, inspiration to embrace life and achieve greatness, love, madness, and more. I’ve also assembled an incredible lineup of featured artists that I’m sure you will all enjoy.”
He went on to mention that the tracklist is reminiscent of his previous work “Indicud” and is designed for his upcoming tour in 2024.
Originally scheduled for release on September 15, 2023, Cudi decided to push back the release date of INSANO to January 24, 2024. Alongside this announcement, he offered fans some consolation by unveiling two new songs from the forthcoming album.
Cudi shared this news on Twitter just two weeks before the initially planned release date, explaining that he postponed it to early next year to ensure that he could present the album in the best possible way.
In his tweet, he said, “Hey fam!! I’ve got some updates for y’all. Some are good, some not so good. I have to delay INSANO until January. I want to ensure that everything aligns perfectly and that I deliver the best version of myself.
“This album is incredible, and I want to make sure I present it in the best way for you all. That’s the not-so-good news. But don’t worry, I still plan to release the next single soon.”
He continued, “The good news is that since I’m doing this, and I know you all are eager to hear the album, I’m dropping two new tracks from INSANO on SoundCloud tonight, just for you. And I promise I won’t take them down.
“These songs are among my favorites on the album, and I believe you’ll really enjoy them. I apologize for the delay, everybody, but I’m a perfectionist, and things have to be just right. I love you all!!! Enjoy!”
