American singer Britney Spears and her husband Sam Asghari have split after fourteen months of marriage.
Media outlet PEOPLE reports that they have gone their separate ways after a ‘nuclear argument’ that saw Sam confront his wife over rumors she was unfaithful. He was said to have believed the rumors that she was unfaithful and they had a huge fight.
He reportedly filed for divorce on Wednesday, August 17 citing irreconcilable differences and listing July 28, 2023 as the date of separation.
According to court docs, Asghari is asking Britney Spears for spousal support and to cover his attorney’s fees.
