Grammy-winning singer Tori Kelly was rushed to the hospital in a serious condition after collapsing during a night out.
The incident occurred while Kelly was dining with friends in downtown Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, Tori Kelly was out with her pals on July 23rd when she said her heart was beating very fast, citing sources close to the singer, then she suddenly passed out and lost consciousness. Her friends took immediate action and decided to transport her to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, one of the country’s top hospitals, instead of calling an ambulance.
Sources reveal that she is currently receiving care in the ICU after doctors discovered blood clots surrounding her vital organs which are her legs and lungs and they are still working to determine if any clots are around her heart.
The situation is described as really serious as she has been in and out of consciousness during her hospitalization.
News of the singers’ hospitalization comes just days before the release of her new EP, Tori. On July 13, the American Idol alumni shared a promotional video of herself, writing in the caption, “Lemme hype you up while we wait for July 28!!! Come celebrate the EP release with me @ the roxy! Tickets on sale at 12pm pst.”
