Samuel Chukwueze’s prowess back at Villarreal
The Super Eagles star who joined Villarreal in the summer of 2017 played 20 games and scored four goals for the team before making his senior team debut in September 2018. Since then, he has appeared in 207 games, scored 37 goals, and won one Europa League title in the 2020/21 season. He has been capped 28 times for Nigeria and scored four goals.
With the Yellow Submarines last year, Samuel Chukwueze had his greatest season, with 13 goals and 11 assists in all competitions, and won the best African player prize in Spain’s premier division last season thanks to his efforts. Chukwueze intends to stay on his current path after joining AC Milan.
New Heights for the Super Eagle’s Star in AC Millan
Chukweze would enjoy the opportunity to showcase his skills in Serie A and the Champions League with AC Milan after developing into one of the fiercest wingers in La Liga while playing for Villarreal.
The Nigerian winger is expected to receive a significant wage raise after making him one of AC Milan’s highest-paid players. Chukwueze, like Olivier Giroud, Fikayo Tomori, and Ante Rebic, will make about €4 million annually, according to Tutto Napoli.
The international player from Nigeria, who supposedly makes €1.1 million at Villarreal, has seen a substantial wage rise.
Villarreal, though, has already signed a number of players for a small fraction, which shows how effective their transfer strategy has been. Despite these, they will undoubtedly be contending for the European positions once more in 2023–24.
Chukwueze has become Villarreal’s most recent high-profile acquisition this summer.
