Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx has recently spoken up after reports surfaced that he is still in the hospital following an unspecified health emergency.
The announcement came after the game show Beat Shazam shared that they have found a temporary replacement for him. Foxx shared a message of appreciation on Instagram, thanking his fans for their love and support. He has been under observation at a medical facility in Georgia for the past three weeks, and the show has found Nick Cannon to take over as presenter for the new season premiering on May 23.
Foxx’s representatives have not disclosed any further information about his condition, but sources close to the actor say that he needs all the prayers and well-wishes that his fans can offer.
On April 12, Foxx suffered a medical emergency and was rushed to the hospital, as shared by his daughter and Beat Shazam co-host, Corrine, on Instagram. Currently, he is on the road to recovery. Even though he is still in the hospital, Foxx remains dedicated to his work and is currently in Georgia shooting his new Netflix film, Back in Action, co-starring with Cameron Diaz.
It’s clear that Foxx’s fans and colleagues have nothing but love and support for him during this difficult time. Ellen DeGeneres commented on Foxx’s Instagram post, sending love to him every single day, while Beat Shazam expressed their appreciation to Nick Cannon for stepping in to help.
