Hollywood actor, Lance Reddick who shot into the limelight after featuring on HBO’s ‘The Wire’ and the ‘John Wick’ movie franchise is dead.
According to reports, Reddick’s body was discovered at his Studio City home in Los Angeles, California on Friday morning 0around 9:30 a.m.
Although the actor’s cause of death is currently unclear, it is reported that law enforcement sources say it appears to be natural.
Just so you know the late Lance Reddick was currently on a press tour for the fourth film in the ‘John Wick’ movie franchise where he played Charon. He was even scheduled to make a guest appearance on Kelly Clarkson’s show this week.
According to TMZ, Reddick was also supposed to be in attendance at the ‘Wick 4’ premiere that evening. However, never explained why he didn’t attend.
Despite his busy schedule, his last post on Instagram was on Wednesday, where he shared that he was enjoying his time at home with his dogs. The 60-year-old shared a photo with a short caption, “On screen and off, it’s no surprise I love spoiling my dogs…”
Lance was best known for playing fictional Baltimore Police Department officer, Cedrick Daniels
on the hit HBO series ‘The Wire’, with his character appearing in all five seasons.
He also had recurring roles on a bunch of popular TV shows including Fringe, Bosch, Oz and Lost. He was also featured in Angel Has Fallen and Godzilla Vs. Kong.
Furthermore, Reddick has unreleased projects in the works as he plays the Greek god, Zeus in the upcoming Disney+ series, ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians.’
