Popular Nigerian musician, Temilade Openiyi commonly known as Tems has won her first Grammy award.

Tems was nominated for three different categories but she won the ‘Best Melodic Rap Performance’ category.

Her feature in the hit song, ‘Wait for you’ by Future and Drake earned her the award.

Fans of the musician have been so excited about this feat as Tems is the first female Nigerian to win the Grammy award

The 65th edition of the Grammy awards was held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, January 5th.
