After thirteen years together and following the cheating scandal that rocked their relationship, it is now official that Nia Long and Ime Udoka have decided to part ways.
According to PEOPLE, a source broke the news of their split, saying, “The situation is unfortunate and painful, but Nia is focusing on her children and rebuilding her life.”
A representative for Nia Long also confirmed that she and Ime are no longer together but remain fully committed to co-parenting their son, Kez.”
If you would recall, Nia Long recently spoke out amid news of the scandal, saying, “I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public.”
In September, the Celtics reported that Udoka would undergo an immediate suspension. Ahead of the announcement, ESPN reported that Udoka was involved in an intimate relationship with a female member of the franchise’s staff.
Udoka later addressed the scandal with a statement, apologizing to the players, fans, the entire Celtics organization, and his family for letting them down.
Long and Udoka have been engaged for seven years, and they both share one child together, an eleven-year-old son named Kez.
