English singer/songwriter, Harry Styles has had to cancel his recent shows because of an inability to perform due to being hit hard by the flu.
The singer took to social media over the weekend to announce the postponement of three Los Angeles concerts after he fell ill.
He made this known via his Instagram story writing, “Towards the end of the show on Wednesday I started feeling ill and I’ve been in bed with the flu ever since. I’ve been doing everything I can to be able to sing tonight, but I’m leaving the doctor now and I’m devastated that it’s just not possible.
“Until very recently I haven’t had to postpone a show due to illness in the 12 years I’ve been touring. I’m so sorry to do it, and if there was any way I could do the show I would.
“I’m sorry this news is coming so close to show time, but it was my sincerest hope to be able to play for you tonight, I know several of you have planned trips to LA to see the show, and it means the absolute world to me.
Just so you know, Harry Styles was set to hit the stage in L.A. over the weekend, performing at the Kia Forum in Inglewood to a sold-out crowd of seventy thousand and he not only pulled the plug on that concert, but he also won’t perform at two other shows.
Now all three shows would be postponed until January 26, 27, and 29 of next year.
He continued, “Everything else will play as planned. I can’t wait to see you then, and I’m so sorry,” he concluded, signing the note, All my love, -H.”
This isn’t the first show Harry’s cancelled as he pulled the plug on a concert in Chicago last month but that was due to members of the band and crew getting sick.
