Reacting to the trending story of a girl who accused her female boss of molestation, the female hosts of Wake Up Nigeria had mixed reactions to the story. They also examined relevant solutions to the issue.
According to the story making rounds, a young lady accused her madam of allegedly making her do some nasty things she doesn’t want to do at night.

Molestation had more often being the case where by it was husbands that were being accused of molesting house helps and things like that.
However, this case is really delicate because it’s apparently the madam that is said to be doing this to the girl. – Titi Dynamite of WUN said
“I don’t know if there’s enough proof on ground to actually say if it’s true or not but, i am really concern about the fact that this woman could in-fact be innocent and there’s no way to proof it”. she added
How do we save guard our home/ environments against this kind of situation? she asked.
Responding to her comment, Mary Bashua cohost of WUN said, “we have in one way or the other all had to deal with domestic help and they are one of the most complicated people in the world. It’s complicated because some of them live with us so it’s a thin line.
“You need to be careful how you address them, especially when you have children involved. You wouldn’t want them to have you children which some of them will still do no matter how nice you are to them anyway.
“In this kind of situation for example, it’s each persons word against the other person. If the girl has tangible poof she can insist on it and if the madam also have tangible proof on the contrary then she could as well insist on it.
“But whatever the case may be, unfortunately for both parties, pregnancy cannot be involved so we cannot say that, ‘oh you impregnated me here’…
It’s also a thing of somebody psychology because it could affect the girls mind. It could be traumatic for her that she had to do all that.
The truth is most of these domestic help do crazy things to keep their job. They’re made to go through nasty things so it’s a tricky one.
Nevertheless, Winfrey Dania Okolo clarified that they are not trying to say the girl is telling lies but at the same time “we are also trying to say some of these helps are actually terrible.
“Do research before you consider a domestic help” she added.
