If there’s a dish you’d want to eat over and over again, then this Curry with Sauce with basmati Rice must be it. Thanks to Chef Eniola.
Here’s how to make Nigerian Chicken Curry Sauce with Basmati Rice.
Basmati, is a variety of long, slender-grained aromatic rice which is traditionally grown in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal.
As of 2019, India accounted for 65% of the international trade in basmati rice, while Pakistan accounted for the remaining 35%
The Basmati grain is unique in that it expands more than twice its dry length during cooking.
Unlike other types of rice, the grains only expand lengthways, which allows them to retain their characteristic length and slenderness when cooked and it contains less starch and it’s also healthier.
