Abimbola Olusegun, Food consultant and recipe developer during her educative interview with our very own Titilayo highlighted the signs of Vitamin Deficiency to look out for.
It is important we take a closer look at what we consume on a daily especially when we are in charge of the meals in our family.
According to Abimbola, something don’t just happen to us all of a sudden, there are warning signs that our body give to us that will tell us when we are lacking a particular vitamin.
She added that, if we are able to understand the communication of our body we will be able to know the food vitamins and kinds of nutrients our body needs.
Here are some signs of Vitamin Deficiency you should look out for.
- breakable hair and nails
- Mouth ulcers or cracks in the corners of the mouth
- Bleeding gums
- Poor night vision and white growths on the eyes.
- Scaly patches and dandruff.
- Hair loss.
- Red or white bumps on the skin.
- Restless leg syndrome.
