Alleged Scam: Ireti Doyle distances herself from her daughter’s beauty business.
The actress’ daughter, Ngozikachi Abimbola Onyeluo has been called out severally on social media over an empowerment scheme in form of a hair importation business. She had reportedly received payments from clients without delivering the ordered products.
According to reports, the business owes customers over N40m and the businesswoman had refused to effect refunds despite incessant calls and emails by customers. Most of the victims of the scheme said they had bought into the business after it was endorsed by the proprietor’s mother, Ireti Doyle.
However, Ireti Doyle took to her Instagram page on Monday to state that she had “zero affiliations” with the business, and was only related to the proprietor of the business as her mother.
