Convicted rapist, and embattled American film producer Harvey Weinstein has been hit with six new counts of forcible sexual assault, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Harvey Weinstein who is serving a 23-year prison sentence for rape was charged with three additional forcible rape felonies and three forcible oral copulation charges stemming from alleged attacks between 2004 and 2010 in Beverly Hills, which expands the Los Angeles case to a total of five victims.
The disgraced film mogul is now facing a total of eleven counts of sexual assault in Los Angeles County involving five women.
According to the assault case, if convicted as charged in Los Angeles, Harvey Weinstein faces up to one hundred and forty years to life in state prison.
Harvey Weinstein on the other hand has still maintained his innocence stating that every one of his physical encounters throughout his entire life have been consensual.
