American rapper Cardi B, who recently visited Nigeria and Ghana for a music festival, took to Instagram to apologize to Ghanaian actress Afia Schwarzenegger. Cardi B stated that the Ghanaian actress isn’t a cheap celebrity.
The Bodak Yellow star appeared to have gotten on the nerves of some celebrities in Ghana after failing to show up for a meet and greet. Some Ghanaian stars including Afia Schwarzenegger took to social media to seriously express their displeasure and slam the rapper.
The past few days has been a very interesting one on social media for Nigerians and Ghanaian s after American rapper, Cardi B, visited the two countries. All went well when Cardi was in Nigeria as she appeared to have a lot of fun but things took another turn with her African visit when she traveled to Ghana.
Apparently, there was supposed to be a meet and greet with Cardi B and some Ghanaian celebs but the rapper claimed she was unaware as it was not in her contract.
Despite that, the celebs from Ghana were upset to have waited several hours for Cardi at the hotel when she appeared to be eating kebab by the pool. In a heated post on social media, Ghanaian star, Afia Schwarzenegger, called out the rapper and said the delay made them feel like cheap celebs seeing as she would not even wait four hours for Jesus Christ.
Read her caption below: “Will NOT wait 4 hrs for Jesus….I wont do that for @iamcardib. The cheap so called Celebrities are still waiting for their fellow human being till 8:40pm. Whiles madam is on some coke n khebab,” she stated
Well, Cardi B took to Afia’s page to apologise for the mix-up and explained that the Ghanaian star is not a cheap celeb and that her country is also beautiful.
