So yesterday the 10th of November 2019, Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy, held a Gold Gala for her foundation, ‘Cuppy Foundation‘. The event played host to the vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbanjo, the Governor of Lagos state, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, The Governor of Ogun State, Dr. Dapo Abiodun and many other dignitaries.
The father of the founder of the foundation, Femi Otedola made a donation of Five Billion Naira in support of the Cuppy Foundation while the God-Father of the founder of the foundation, Alhaji Aliko Dangote supported with One Hundred Million Naira.
The primary aim of the foundation is to support and improve the lives of Nigerian children.
Some special highlights of the occasion was the auctioning of Anthony Joshua‘s boxing gloves. The event was aired live on some Tv stations.
