An alleged armed robber was caught in the early hours of May 25, 2019 and lynched in Lugbe Zone 9 in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).
According to reports, the alleged robber and his gang attacked the community by 1:00am and robbed them until 3:00am.
It was rvealed that the gang leader ran out of luck after he instructed his gang members to flee, thinking that he would be able to escape too.
According to an anonymous source, after robbing, one of the gang member with a machete attacked a man who was struggling with the gang leader.
“One of the victim’s sons then hit him (robber) on the head with a stone, that was how he was caught. They broke his leg and set him ablaze immediately.” He explained.
A community leader said that the community had contacted the Police to come and evacuate the corpse.|
