Cake is a form of sweet dessert that is typically baked and shares features with other desserts such as pastries, meringues, custards, and pies.
Cake making is no longer a complicated procedure; at one time, considerable labor went into cake making (particularly the whisking of egg foams), but baking equipment and directions have been simplified so that even the most amateur cook may bake a cake.
Chef Ibiyemi of Classic Desserts was on Wake Up Nigeria today to show us an even simpler method of preparing yummy homely cupcakes.
The basic Ingredients are:
- Eggs
- Flour
- Vanilla flavour
- Baking powder
- Butter
- Sugar
- Whip cream
- Sprinkles
Step by step Process:
Mix your butter and sugar together in a bowl. In the absence of a mixer, use a wooden stick.
Wash your eggs and cream into the batter.
Then, begin to pour in your sieved flour little by little, after which you put your measured baking powder followed by vanilla flavour.
Remember to keep turning the batter as you pour the ingredients.
Start portioning into the cupcake pan.
Put into the oven for about 10 minutes.
Your yummy cupcakes are ready.
You could top it with whip cream if you desire.
