American boxer, Floyd Mayweather was named the world’s highest-paid entertainer by Forbes on Monday. Floyd topped the 100 Highest Paid Entertainers list with $285 million earned.
Flyod’s earning was largely gained from his comeback fight win over mixed martial arts champion Conor McGregor in August 2017.
The list also saw Oscar-winning actor, George Clooney take the number two spot with an estimated $239 million worth after selling the Casamigos tequila company he co-founded to British spirits company Diageo in June 2017. Forbes said the sale gave Clooney the best annual earnings of his 35-year career in film and television.
Kylie Jenner, who debuted on the list at number 59 last year, took the third spot with $166.5 million earned. With her booming cosmetics line, Forbes has said put the 20 year old on track to become the youngest self-made billionaire in the United States.
