Banky W disagrees with Chimamanda Adichie’s comment on men holding the door for women

Nigerian musician Banky W thinks Celebrated Nigerian Author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s stands on issues bothering on feminism is becoming a little bit ridiculous.

Banky who is also the husband of popular Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi made this known while reacting to a statement made by Adichie during “The Daily Show” with Trevor Noah on Wednesday. The author said she has trouble with men holding the door for women because they think women are weak.

But Mr W opposes Chimamanda saying that against what the writer believes. Chivalry is done not because women are a weaker sex – but because some men just want to be romantic.

Banky also reacted to a past incident where Chimamanda also confronted Former US Secretary General Hillary Clinton where she questioned her why her twitter bio carried the title of ‘Wife’ first before all her personal achievements.
