Pop singer Kiss Daniel has changed his stage name to Kizz Daniel.
The singer made the changes unannounced on his social media pages.
It was discovered that the singer’s name on his Instagram account and twitter has been changed from ‘@iamkissdaniel’ to ‘@iamkizzdaniel’.
It could be recalled that his former label laid assertion to the ownership of his former name, ‘Kiss Daniel’, in their legal battle against him. It is then assumed that the change of name was done in response to the direction of the legal war between him and former label, G-worldwide Entertainment.
Although it was reported that the singer came out victorious in the legal battle, he lost the right to the name “Kiss Daniel” as it was trademarked by his ex-label. Recall that G-Worldwide had told the artist to stop using the stage name, Kiss Daniel after his exit from the label claiming they had ‘owned’ the name.
The singer left the record label last year and then established his self owned label- Fly Boi Inc.
The singer will now be referred to as ‘Kizz Daniel’ as he has embraced this new phase and is moving on to re-brand his music and record label.
His manager, Ubi Franklin confirmed that the singer has officially changed his name and will be addressed as ‘Kizz Daniel’ henceforth.
Kizz Daniel is presently on his tour in Canada #flyboytour2018.
