Evra was sacked from Marseille three months back after kicking a fan on the head. The 36-year-old serving a six-month UEFA ban says he’s glad to be back in the Premier League.
“I’m thankful to West Ham for giving me the oppurtunity to do my job”
“I’m lucky to wake up every morning and know I’m going to give my best on the pitch with my new team-mates.”
Evra won’t be able to play at the UEFA club competition until june but is eligible to play in the Premier League.
