She started by revealing that her rapist was her tenant, and the incident made her frigid;
I was deflowered by a rapist, he was my tenant and for a long time I bottled it up without telling anybody, which affected me and my first marriage because I was frigid.”

She further explained that she realised she needed help and someone to talk to which led her to see a psychiatrist, who helped her get through the psychological effect of the incident. Foluke who is also the founder of ‘passion against rape foundation’, disclosed that seeing a psychiatrist really helped her realise there is a need to help others, and this led to the launch of her foundation.
She stated;
I started sharing my story, I had an interview with The Punch and a documentary from France, and the white guy from France asked if i had a foundation. I realised the need to help other victims who are feeling bottled up, that’s how I started the foundation.”
There is a need for you to speak out if you have been a victim, because its not your fault that you were raped and being a victim is not a curse.You have to understand and learn how to accept that it happened and move past it.
