Arsenal have made contact with Barcelona attacker Arda Turan’s agents and a possible January move could be on the cards, according to CNN Turk.
The Gunners are looking to add to their squad after a number of exits in the summer, including that of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who left for Liverpool for a fee in the region of £35m.
Yet another attacker and Arsenal’s main man in recent years, Alexis Sanchez, has also been linked with a move to Manchester City, in spite of the Gunners refusing to sell him in the summer.
And Wenger may feel that out-of-favour Barcelona man Turan could help ease his woes if Arsenal can strike a deal with the Catalan giants in the January transfer window.
It is claimed that Turan’s club are open to a potential sale, while the Turkish international would also be interested in exploring the possibility.
