Oluwatobi Arowojolu, aka, Tobi sax, has proven that she has all in takes to
compete with the likes of Yemi sax in the industry having started her career in Saxophone at a very young age,. The Ondo state born young Saxophonist, who started her journey into the world of saxophone at the age of 10, has opened up to Showtime the secret to her staying relevant in the industry.
“ Growing up was fun, I thank God for everything. I have learnt so much lessons on the secret of success. First, for you to be successful you have to be determined, focused, strong and dedicated. I rehearse a lot to stay relevant. I rehearse minimum of four hours a day during holidays, and it has helped me to grace so many big stages and platforms.
So many challenges I have had in the course of this my career have helped me to be who I am today and the better person I’m going to be tomorrow. My major challenges have been power supply and the fact that some people feel that they supposed to give you peanuts for services rendered, the cost of keeping it real is high, buying instruments, paying for studio rehearsal and many other bills.”
What is your advice to her?
