Kunle Afolayan tasks filmmakers on beaming Nigeria’s culture in films

The need to reposition the Nigerian movie industry known as Nollywood for it to be able to promote the nation’s cultural diplomacy to the global audience is now the focus of Nollywood actor Kunle Afolayan.

Kunle whose recent works have been linked to the promotion of Nigeria’s culture says he decided to change his production approach to telling the Nigerian beliefs in his films.

Kunle Afolayan’s new movie, “Roti” deals with reincarnation.

It debuts as part of the Lagos at 50 celebrations.
