Actress Funke Akindele also known as Jenifa has thrown her weight behind upcoming actors.
The actress recently unveiled a series tagged ‘INDUSTREET’ for budding actors and young musicians who have interest in acting.
Funke says she is out to give back to the industry by having a platform to support young acts who are finding it difficult getting top roles in the movie industry.
Based on the African entertainment scene, “Industreet” focuses on survival in the entertainment industry and on the hustle in the ghetto.
Funke Akindele-Bello became a household name after her movie Jenifa in 2008 where she played the role of a local girl called Sulia who got to the city and named herself Jenifa.
