Nigerian animated feature “The Secret Princess” is heading to the United States.
After three years of production and a Kickstarter campaign, the film will be available via Video on demand platforms.
The Secret Princess is a story about a princess who goes through rejection and has to live her life out in the jungle while a farmer’s son lives a life of luxury as the prince in her place.
The film is Africa’s first feature length computer generated animated family film.
It features Cuppy Otedola, Desmond Elliot, and Sherrie Silver.
“The Secret Princess” is an adaptation of the book with the same name and was produced and directed by filmmaker, Segun William.
