The Kano State Police Command has arrested three persons, for forcefully carrying out genital mutilation on a 15-year old girl.
The Police Spokesman, Magaji Majia says the victim, Kaltume Ibrahim, was operated upon by a local barber, who used sharp objects to remove a portion of her private part.
He says the arrested suspects are being interrogated.
