The Senate has invited the suspended Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal to appear before it on Thursday.
This is to answer the allegations of corruption against him over the award of 220 million naira for grass cutting in the Northeast to his company, Rholavision.
In a statement sent to TVC News by the Chairman of the Senate Adhoc Committee on Mounting Humanitarian Crisis in the Northeast, Senator Shehu Sani, the suspended SGF is to appear for the rescheduled investigative hearing at 10am prompt.
The statement was signed by the Clerk of the Adhoc Committee, Lawal Bungudu.
