Nigeria’s second representatives in the CAF Champions League, Rivers United, are preparing for the second leg qualifying round of the tournament against AS Real Bamako of Mali this weekend.
In the first leg, Rivers United forced Real to a goalless draw in the first leg in Bamako last weekend.
Captain of the Nigerian club, Festus Austin, has called on his team mates not to be complacent in the second leg at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port-Harcourt on Sunday.
The winner of the Rivers United versus AS Real Bamako tie will face either Sony Ela Nguema of Equatorial Guinea or Al-Merreikh of Sudan in the next round of the competition.
