Photos : Single men in Somalia protest against outrageous bride prices

A group of single Somali men have gone public to protest against the inflated dowry in the horn of Africa country.

In photos of the protest shared on social media, the men are seen bearing placards which had phrases like ‘Still I am single.’

The protesters said the brides’ parents are extorting men through the inflated bride price in the country.

The demonstration held at the Mansoor hotel in Hargeisa, according to local media.
