The Lagos state ministry of Establishments,Training and Pensions, has involved its public servants in its Cleaner Lagos Initiative.
The ministry trained its first batch of more than one hundred civil servants on Thursday, on the theme”Strategic Communication for a clean Lagos” aimed at making Lagos one of the cleanest cities in Africa.
Commissioner for Establishments,Training and Pensions, Akintola Benson-Oke noted that the primary reasons for the clean city, is to better the health of Lagos residents and to attract tourists from around the world.
The commissioner and the Training Consultant said Lagos is set to prevent the environment from pollution hence the need to train public servants to fit into the vision of the present administration of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode to make Lagos the cynosure of all eyes.
