TVC E. Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari, on Friday (17th of February 2017), paid a courtesy visit to TVC News. His visit was primarily to establish a mutual relationship that would lead to the setting up of a TVC base/ station in Katsina.
TVC coverage of activities and happenings in Katsina will promote the potentials of the state to the world and by extension the country as a whole. The meeting which held at TVC board room was presided by Head, TVC News Nigeria Babajide Otitoju, in company of Deputy Director of News Tunde Osho, Stella Obialor Human Resource Manager, Tokunbo Ojekunle Director for Radio, Mr. Venkate Swaran Director Technical, Funke Shogunle Director Commercial.
However, the state government is hosting a media summit by the end of March to rhyme with the convocation of the Umar Musa Yar’adua University. During the Governor’s visit he said: ‘We have employed over 500 medical workers, we are upgrading the primary health care services with increased number of doctors and midwives. Since Katsina is growing, the health sector should grow too. We have done over 500 training and empowerment of youths. We have built new secondary schools and we are about to employ 1900’.
