Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has commended Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko and former governor of Edo State Adams Oshiomole for distinguishing themselves in their respective states.
He gave this commendation at the Nigerian Governors Forum Valedictory Ceremony held in their honour in Abuja.
We’d like to warn that this report by State House Correspondent Mariah Olasehinde contains scenes with flash photography.
It is the first time the Nigeria’s Governors Forum Chaired by Zamfara Governor Abdulaziz – Yari will be hosting a valedictory service for two of its members
The fact that they are from different political parties, is ample sign that the NGF is preaches unity among its ranks irrespective of party affiliations
In attendance are Former Governors and present governors who have come to celebrate with Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State and the Immediate past governor of Edo State Adams Oshiomole.
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo who chairs the occasion, on a lighter note, cracks jokes about the height of both governors
Governor Mimiko completes his second term in office next week and will be replaced by Rotimi Akeredolu.
