Some students of the Osun State University, Osogbo took to the streets on Saturday to protest against the alleged shooting of two of their colleagues by policemen.
The students barricaded the popular Olaiya junction and other major roads leading to the university community, obstructing free flow of traffic.
They alleged that the police usually harass them under the pretext of searching for students involved in cyber crimes.
The two injured students have been rushed to the emergency ward of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.
The Osun state commissioner of police, Olafimihan Adeoye who was at the hospital to ascertain the condition of the affected students says the police will investigate the incident.
