The Senate Committee on State and Local Government Administration is happy with the fiscal transparency and accountability policy of the Bayelsa state government.
Committee Chairman, Abdullahi Gumel who led four other Senators on oversight visit to the Bayelsa state government house Yenagoa, described the Seriake Dickson administration as a model for other governors in the country.
In his response, the Bayelsa State governor thanked the Senate committee for the assessment, and assured its members of his administration’s commitment to the sustenance of a monthly policy of accountability, prudence, transparency and promotion of local government autonomy in the state.
