Estate Surveyors advocate review of existing Scale of fees

Nigeria needs a vibrant building sector to grow the economy of the Country especially to tackle the current recession.

This was the submission of Estate Surveyors and Valuers at the induction of more than three hundred newly qualified members.

The members believe that one of the ways to standardize the practice of Estate Surveyors in the Country is to review existing scale of fees.

The professionals now propose a new practice manual known as the “Green Book” in order to restore sanity to the profession.

The President of the Institute of Estate Surveyors and Valuers said that that practice of valuation is dynamic and innovative, and that this new proposed manual would raise the bar for practitioners.
