Nigeria’s Super Sand Eagles bounced back from defeat against Ivory Coast by defeating bitter rival Ghana 4-3 to qualify for the semi-final of the ongoing Africa Beach Soccer tournament at the Eko Atlantic Beach in Lagos.
The win makes Eagles finished with six points, same as Egypt but despite the Pharaohs having a better goal advantage, the Eagles finished in second place on head-to-head rule, having earlier beaten Egypt 3-2 during their group clash.
In the early games of the day, defending champion, Madagascar crash out after losing to Morocco, while Egypt defeated Ivory Coast 4-2 to advance into the semi-finals.
