Rivers United continued their impressive pre-season run when they pipped Abuja Selected side 2-0.
It was Bernard Ovoke, who stole the show in the first half and crowned it with the opening goal, an audacious strike From 35 yards after 15 minutes of action.
The second half began with Abuja Selected showing some flashes but it was NPFL runners-up who had the upper hand by getting the second goal on 80 minutes.
