The Lagos state government says it would secure and maximize business assets and economic resources in the state.
This was made known at the celebration of the Lagos state day which also marks the closing ceremony of Lagos 2016 international trade fair.
Tvc News Kareemot salami reports that amidst the dwindling economy of the country, the Lagos state government have reiterated its commitment to the diversification of its economy.
Speaking at the Lagos State Day and closing ceremony of the 2016 Lagos international trade fair governor Akinwunmi Ambode who was represented by his deputy Idiat Adebule noted that the state government has been channeling developments of various sectors through the provision of access funds to micro, small and medium enterprises for sustainable economic growth.
Special adviser, overseas affairs and investment, Ademola Abass said government is taking drastic steps to formulate investment friendly policies.
President Lagos chamber of commerce and industry(LCCI) Nike Akande commended the state government’s for providing a conducive
business environment.
In her remarks Adebule, noted that this year’s trade fair has recorded a remarkable success,especially with the huge patronage by high profile investors.
The 2016 international trade fair which also marks as the 30th edition was declared closed by her excellency deputy governor Idiat Adebule.
