Governor Seriake Dickson has disclosed to Bayelsans that the actualization of the Bayelsa project is the collective responsibility of the people, irrespective of their political affiliations.
Governor Dickson was talking on his arrival in Yenagoa, a week after the Supreme Court judgement in his favour.
Governor Seriake Dickson greeted his teeming supporters with the trademark victory sign at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa, Rivers state.
The Bayelsa Governor later arrived the Mbiama junction where more people had gathered to accord him a rounding welcome back to the state after his victory at the apex court.
Beyond the carnival-like celebration however, is the underlying message of unity and collective for development of the state.
On arrival at the Peace Park in Yenagoa, governor Dickson did a procession round the arena and was almost swallowed by the surging but friendly crowd of supporters.
After the speech came the victory dance by the man, now popularly called “Offuruma Pepe”, literally translated “The Great White Shark”.
