One of the aspirants that contested in last Saturday’s governorship primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ajayi Boroffice has called for the cancellation of the result.
Boroffice made the call at a reception rally organised by by a federal lawmaker, Babatunde Kolawole for him at Oka town.
Boroffice, a serving senator was received by thousands of indigenes of Oka town and its evirons at the Palace of Olubaka of Oka-Akoko in Akoko South West local.
The senator who came fourth, scored four hundred and seventy one votes in an election won by Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, who polled six hundred and sixty nine votes.
He said the list of delegates used for the exercise was manipulated, hence the need to conduct a fresh exercise.
The Senator pointed out that such illegality should not be allowed to go without being probed.
A federal lawmaker, Babatunde Kolawole also condemned the use of fake delegates for the primary election.
