The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress has postponed the governorshipprimary in Ondo State till next week Wednesday.
A statement by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Omo’oba Adesanya, on Wednesday said the election was postponed due to issues of logistics.
“The governorship primary election has been postponed till Wednesday, 31st of August, 2016, due to logistics,” he said.
“The decision was communicated to the State chapter at the end of the emergency National Working Committee meeting of the Party today, 24th of August, 2016.”
The national leadership of the party had waded into the crisis when it became clear that the party was heading for the rocks following the endorsement of one of the aspirants, Olusegun Abraham, by the national leader, Bola Tinubu.
