The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been placed in group B of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers alongside Cameroon, Zambia and Algeria.
The draws were held in Cairo, Egypt.
Group A consists of Libya, Guinea, Congo DR, and Tunisia while Group C contains Gabon Morocco Mali and Ivory Coast
Group D has Burkina Faso South Africa, Cape Verde and Senegal while Group E has Uganda, Congo, Egypt and Ghana
Teams will play each other home and away from October 2016 to November 2017.
The winners of each group will represent Africa at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Nigeria have appeared in the finals of the FIFA World Cup on five occasions, the first being in 1994 where they reached the second round and made their fifth appearance at the finals in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
